Old Business
Lake Carey Day
Changes will be made next year with the raffle baskets. Possibly divide them evenly between Friday
night and Saturday. More money was made on Saturday with less baskets than was made on Friday
night. There were 241 poker run players.

We need to look at getting new Lake Carey merchandise for
sale next year. Participants have been asking for children’s clothing to buy. Ivy suggested we also sell
more traditional t shirts. Due to the Lake Carey Day signs not arriving on time, they were donated.

Dave Rinehimer thanked all the people who helped in any way to make Lake Carey Day successful.

Not much new at this time. 13 and 1⁄2 million dollars loan will be finalized in October. The attorney

who prepared the 501c3 application has given a copy to Pete Butler. He will ask our legislatures to
help get this approved. There was some discussion about why can’t we repair the dam instead of
replacing it. If we can repair it, what would need to be repaired.

There was a question about the state
owning any part of the lake. Why can’t we put fixing the dam ahead of sewers. If the dam breaks then
the small lake would be gone and the big lake would loose about five feet.
New Business
Jim Perry and Lynn Bierly volunteered to be the nominating committee.
Ginny Tinner won the raffle and gave it back to the association.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting.
Respectfully submitted, Patty Skrynski
