Test Your Well for Gas Drilling Contamination or Bacteria

07/20/2013

If you are concerned for your drinking water with all the Gas Drilling operations in your area you should have your well tested beforehand to get a snapshot of the chemical spectrum. Once Drilling begins you can then have it tested again if you suspect there is contamination.

We know of 2 certified well testers in the area although this is not an endorsement of them. They have both spoken at the LCWA on the issue of Drilling and Fracking in the watershed.

Whether its a simple test for bacteria or a full chemical analysis, both testers are equipped and both use Kirby Memorial Health Center in Wilkes-Barre as the testing facility.
