Lake Carey, a 182-acre lake in Northeastern Pennsylvania is rich in history and community. Starting as a popular vacation spot in the late 1800’s with steamboats and lakeside carnivals, Lake Carey has evolved into a peaceful retreat where families enjoy the lake’s natural beauty and recreational activities. Lake size – Large side 182-acres, Small side 71-acres for a total of 253-acres.
The Lake Carey Welfare Association (LCWA) is a group of residents and friends of Lake Carey. Our mission is to support and preserve the beauty of our natural resources and foster good will in our community.
